A Sunday Twist

There are numerous developments taking place in my life right now. One significant aspect is that I have recently submitted my manuscript to an editor, which is both an exhilarating and nerve-wracking experience. This particular project feels quite different from anything I have done before, and I am hopeful that the feedback will help me refine my work further. Additionally, I am faced with various job-related decisions that have been weighing on my mind. The online platforms I have been utilizing for my professional growth have not been meeting my expectations. I find myself contemplating what my next steps should be moving forward.

Amidst all of this, I am genuinely excited about trying my hand at writing. While I am fully aware that I may not become a literary giant like J.K. Rowling, the aspiration to write has always been a cherished dream of mine. As I stand on the brink of this new venture, I am curious to see where it might lead. There are certain online media opportunities I will have to explore, and I might even need to consider setting up a separate website to showcase my work. 

With all these tasks and considerations piling up, I find myself feeling a bit overwhelmed. The sheer volume of things I need to accomplish is quite daunting at times. As a result, I had to momentarily put my writing ambitions aside to focus on something a little less taxing. In a lighter moment, I decided to bake a carrot cake instead 


Lets see how it taste's!!  Just a  Sunday almost afternoon twist.

A New Years Eve Twist

I think the plan was for a Christmas twist.  However; Covid reared its ugly head  in my office and then in my home,  It has been a challenging week.  I guess each holiday season has its own story to tell in our lives.    The stories never follow a Hallmark movie script though,  it I s important to remember that. A quiet New Year's Eve here,  except for the outside fireworks (already at 7 pm)  terrorizing my dog. I am reflecting that this year has been a mixed bag. A Mid Week Twist

At this moment, my life is filled with a multitude of projects and concerns that occupy my thoughts and drive my actions. I have embarked on a journey into the world of self-publishing, a path that excites me despite the uncertainty of the outcome. While I do not harbor the expectation of achieving the level of success experienced by authors like J.K. Rowling, I have always felt a persistent urge to express myself, particularly regarding the profound themes of grief and loss. This interest has propelled me forward, and I find myself evolving and transforming at this stage of my life. It is a reminder that we are all, in essence, ongoing projects, constantly developing and reshaping ourselves. While I appreciate the opportunity to work from home, I cannot help but miss the vibrant energy that characterized my time at the clinic.
